I got the N73 after a friend have told me he just got it, and it’s really nice.First of all, the dimentions- It’s not the smallest cell phone out there. a bit bigger then the Nokia 3210 i had before, but still fits in every pocket. What i really liked about the N73 is it’s camera- it has great resolution(I don’t really know the specifications, but it’s far better then most cell phone cameras I’ve seen), and the zoom is tottaly amazing, nothing like I’ve ever seen in a cell phone.Didn’t try the games on it, but my nephew seemed to be really happy when I let him play with my new phone. The mp3 player is not really usefull, since the phone goes totally crazy with large storage memory cards, so I have to work with 32 mb SD cards, which can include no more then 10 songs, so I still have to carry my Ipod arround. You can still use your favourite tune as a ringtone, but that’s not something really usefull. The web browser on the other hand is tottaly awesome, and from now on instead of being bored in long bus rides I surf all over the net, no more stupid WAP, but real internet.

Nokia n71

Nokia N71

Item: Nokia N71 Cellular PhoneLocation:by Ankit

Review: The Nokia N71 is a clamshell mobile phone. It has a 2 Megapixel camera that takes some great shots. The mobile has two cameras, one for normal useage and the other for video calling, great if you have lots of money to spend on calling someone. It has a funny design to it, not like other nokia candy phones but still has features that can attract lots of people to it. 3G is great for downloads of the internet, which this phone has. The operating system is Symbian 9.1 and S60 3rd Edition, which can cope with all the applications and games you install onto it. The onboard memory is 10MB, which is small compared to toher mobiles, but you can upgrade it with a memory card Micro SD. To connect you can use Bluetooth where you can connect to other peoples mobiles or a computer. This mobile may have a weird design, but it has lots of features to satisfy people. You can either like it for the design and features or hate the design and go for a more expensive phone.

Nokia N95 nokia phone

Nokia N75 nokia phone

Item: Nokia N75Location:by shazipk
Review: This Nokia N75 is a member of slim and thin family folding cell phone but not less in any quality and features the others have. The best site is its own nokia site to cover all its features and also for offers on the phone and deals. The best features that I find is Its a NOKIA fone and 3G access to internetWe can use its audio without opening the set.Crystal clear picture quality3D stereo soundWe can also play music from Yahoo music and etc.Build in 2 mega pixel camera with flash and digital zoom.storage memory is 40 MBalmost all type of messaging like MMS+SMIL ,IM,SMSWith blue tooth.Pc connectivity is with infrared and blue tooth.Mp3 player and MP3 ring tonesIn short U name it we get it inside type of featured phone .I give it 10 out of 10

Nokia N73

Nokia N73

Item: Nokia N73 Location:by Ankit

Review: First of all I have to say this. The Nokia N73 blows out the rest of the competition out of the water. I looks great, has a huge LCD screen and is filled with so many features you know you’re getting your money’s worth.I love this top of the range Mobile Phone because of all the features it has. It has things like bluetooth, mp3 player, games and other things that will truly change your perspective on mobile phones just like it did on mine.Trust me, this is one of the best Mobiles I’ve ever seen. I would not be embarassed to carry this around, no, in fact, I show mine off to everyone I meet because that is how proud I am of owning a Nokia bN73. Alright, so I exaggerated a bit, I just show it too my friends and family. But maybe you will be touched by how awesome this phone is, so maybe you might be the one who shows it off to everyone you meet! You never know unless you get this phone, which you should definitely do!This phone gets 2 thumbs up from me.

Nokia 6280

Nokia 6280

Item: Nokia 6280 Mobile PhoneLocation:by Wayne

Review: The Nokia 6280 is the first phone I dared to buy since the old nokias. By a general rule I only ever stick to Nokia because I find that they are the best for quality. The 6280 is NO exception at all. Even if you are not familiar with the earlier models of Nokia, the 6280 is very easy to use, easier more so than any phone I have ever owned. The phone and text messaging services are very easy to use with many smileys and options to your calling services than you would find on many other models, and depending on your network, you will be able to easily send and receive text messages from all across the globe. The camera is another great feature. You are able to easily toggle between Picture Phone and Video Phone, meaning you can take pictures and videos in one camera. You are able to edit the quality of the picture AND the image quality to suit your own personal preference.I myself can vouch for this camera. I went to see Ozzy Osbourne live on Friday and took several pictures and videos, ALL of which came out AMAZING quality, perfect view and perfect sound with very minimal back fuzz. If anyone reading this would like to see any of these videos or images if you’re considering buying this model, don’t hesitate to get in touch with me.Durability is another question though. The phone is very easy to break, and just from a tiny drop the back case can come off leaving your battery and sim open to damage. Aside from this, there have also been other minor problems such as your phone switching off at random times. I have had this many times while I have been at work, mainly when using the media player to play music, but it is not very often it does it. Recently I have found it to switch off when connecting to the PC, but Nokia will send out a replacement phone if it keeps up; I am currently on my second 6280 because of this.Overall I would say it is an amazing phone for general needs. I have found it easy to use for all purposes, and the quality of picture and video is spectacular. Could easily be compared to professional video cameras, and my friends who I have showed some of my videos too actually asked me if I’d got a video camera and were shocked when I told them it was my phone that had done every aspect of filming, whether it be for generic videos with my friends, or the Ozzy Osbourne concert you read about above. This goes for both pictures and video recording, the quality is just AMAZING and is easily the best out of all the phones I have owned over the years.Another good thing about the camera is that you do not need a sim-card in to be able to use it. As long as you have a decent memory card, it will record and save onto the memory card with no exception. This is very useful for me as I recently cancelled my Vodafone contract meaning my sim-card no longer works with a Vodafone sim-card and it is not unlocked for other networks.A good 8 out of 10 is well deserved, the only downfall is the occasional random switch off, but it’s not often. I would recommend this phone to anyone, as it is easily used by anyone who hasn\’t even had a phone before. It is very simple to use and very great quality.

Nokia 8600 Luna

Nokia 8600 Luna

Item: Nokia 8600 LunaLocation:by Ankit

Review: The Nokia 8600 Luna is quite an excellent phone with loads of capabilities, it has a 2megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom, GPRS/EDGE/HSCSD technology, audio/video reader (for mp3, 3pg, midi, aac) the screen has up to 16 million colors, truly fantastic definition, and an (also intergrated) FM radio. The keys are covered by the screen (slide action), just be careful when opening it because a friend of mine opened it to quickly and it broke in half. it is quite heavy, about 141 grams and it offers both IrDA and bluetooth technology, excelletn to transfer files to virtually any computer, which comes in handy when either the IrDA or bluetooth on your pc/laptop doesn’t work.I would reccomend this but unfortunately it has one MAJOR flaw, this cell phone costs over 800 euro, if i hadn’t won this at the city Luna Park (Which here in Italy is some sort of city fair, and ironically enough the model itself is called Luna). The only reason why i give this phone a 9 is because I won it, if i had bought it I would’ve given a 7 just because I think that spending over 800 euro for something which will be obsolete in a few weeks is really inconsiderate.

Nokia 7373

Nokia 7373

Item: Nokia 7373Location:by Ankit

Review: This was actually my dream phone since it was released in 2006 because it came in various designs at the store. It’s a swivel phone, meaning the LCD has 180 degree rotation. And it looks really cool! And it has an AM/FM radio which I like because I don’t have a stereo in my car (poor me!). It doesn’t really have a large memory but you can buy a microSD card for it so it’s okay if you want to put dozens of mp3s. And best of all it has a USB port which is better than using the Bluetooth for transferring files. Anyway, I don’t have one but my sister has it in pink. And I have been crushing on this phone ever since she got it. I think the only problem she’s had with it is the battery which is supposedly good and would last for 3 hours of talk time; but it doesn’t. Or maybe she just needs to change her battery. Oh and there’s the PTT, which our networks in the Philippines don’t support, so it’s virtually useless. This isn’t really the phone that has a lot of features that would make it a techie’s dream, but it looks sleek and cool which make it my dream phone until another one that comes in purple comes along.

Nokia N73

Nokia N73

Item: Nokia N73Location:by Ankit

Review: Last month, I decided to replace my old cellular phone by Toshiba, served by the AU Japan Telecom, with a Nokia N73, also known in Japan as Nokia 705NK.Run by a Symbian OS 9.1, S60 3rd edition, this series of Nokia phone is also an SMS, MMS, and email messaging gadget equipped with a WAP 2.0/xhtml and html. And of course it is java enabled so you can install your favorite java games and applications with its capability to adopt an upgrade in SD card.Nokia N73 colors are simply amazing and so sleek. With the ability to switch to different themes, you can really make this toy a real eye candy while doing your usual day to day cellular phone routines. Its camera, a 3.15MP, 2048×1536 pixels raw image format, using Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus and a VGA, add to the merits. In fact I consider it a delight and at the same a spoiler. I really enjoy the focus and color preference adjustments before taking any pictures or videos. And who can resist the music features? You can beef up this toy with a giga or two of sd card and load it up with your favorite music files or perhaps videos? You name it.One drawback though, when it comes to physical design, I think I am not so comfortable in using the tiny and concaved keypads of N73. It gives me a hard time when I am into rush with dialing and typing numbers and text messages respectively.

Sony Ericsson K610im mobile phone

Sony Ericsson K610im mobile phone

Item: Sony Ericsson K610im mobile phoneLocation:by Ankit

Review: The K610im is quite a good phone. I was going to buy an mp3 player and then I realised that I could get 2GB of memory on the K610im so I just upgraded my phone instead. Unfortunately, when I went to buy the 2GB memory stick I was told that it would run down the battery on my phone so I had to settle for a 1GB stick instead.Despite this I find the all-in-one mobile phone and mp3 player to be very useful and very light and handy to carry when traveling or commuting.I switched from Nokia. I found it so much easier to use the Sony Ericsson that I will never go back to Nokia. The camera is fine, for what it is, its not got many megapixels but is a handy alternative to lugging around a bulky camera. I don’t use the camera that much though because the photos are so small. It comes with bluetooth which is really handy for transferring music files to and from my macbook.I can read my googlemail and view other mini websites with ease. All in all its a good, inexpensive, entry-level multimedia phone.Rating: 7

Nokia 6600

Nokia 6600

Item: Nokia 6600Location:by Ankit

Review: Nokia 6600, a smart phone launched few years ago but still remains a winner. I am not here to give you the official features of this phone but to tell you about my experience with this smashing phone.
Nokia 6600 is my second phone. Although, the new high end phones tempted me to switch my phone there is something about it which keeps me loyal to it.
Let me tell you the story of my Nokia 6600, of how useful it has been to me till today. My first phone was a Nokia 3330. I wanted to buy a smart phone with an in built camera, FM Radio and mp3 player as minimum requirements.
So, I had gone to this consumer exhibition in my city. There I went to the Nokia stall to check out the Nokia phones. The sales person over there gave me 2 options depending on my budget: one was a Nokia 6600 and other a Nokia phone with a FM radio. I was confused a bit but was more interested in the phone with an FM Radio. So, I asked for a suggestion and the sales person said although the 6600 has no FM Radio overall it is a very good one compared to the other. Finally, I decided to go for Nokia 6600 and this lucky phone got me a lovely gold heart pendant as part of a promotion.
I had to shell out a huge sum but I was one of the few students who got a smart phone in class. The prices slashed in a month but I will never regret buying this phone. Then, my 6600 changed my life. I have never left home without it and even at home it is by my side.
The phone is a bit heavy compared to other low weight slim phones. But I like its design. The body color is silver and black. I thought of changing it but never changed it because of its simple yet elegant design. The joystick is makes things easy to navigate and also, to play games. The keys are also, very comfortable to use. The text edit key and the clear key on the sides are very useful. The phone is very sturdy, it had fallen many times on the floor but that never affected its working.
It had Bluetooth and Infrared Connectivity. The Bluetooth helped me the most because I could connect the phone with my Computer only using the Bluetooth Dongle which I bought separately. It can also, be connected to an infrared port attached Computer. Yes, I couldnt connect the phone via a data cable because there is no data cable point on the phone. More than infrared, I used Bluetooth to transfer files with my colleagues
I got a wired one sided earphone with the Nokia 6600 which I use occasionally. This earphone I used for listening to music and sometimes attending calls.
Talking about music, I just love to listen to the music from the loudspeaker mode in a silent place. Its not that loud in a crowded place. And yes, not loud enough compared to a stereo loud speaker phone. For the mp3 music, I had to install mp3 player software in the phone and if the software expires wait for music until the software is re-installed or registered.
And, yes, the ring tones are loud then the ringing volume is loud or else I had to face problems in crowded areas (even less crowded areas). But vibration mode is preferred by me outside my home, so didnt face much problems.
Although, I enjoyed the music on my phone there was one problem. Incoming calls could not be picked until I put off the mp3 player.
But, incoming calls remind me of another useful tool in this phone. I was able to record important telephonic interviews and other useful talks using the voice recorder of my phone. The voice recorder was also, used to record funny talks by my family and friends. The voices or sounds recorded were used as ring tones or alarm tones or message tones or even calendar reminder tones.
The reminder tones helped me a lot by reminding me of important assignments, birthdays etc. The to do list tool is also, useful.
The notes section on the phone is my mini diary where I put down my thoughts and other important notes.
Not having a mega pixel camera, I have taken more than 2000 photos on my phone. It still gives me clear pictures in the standard mode with options of good, better or best quality. The portrait mode gave blurred pictures. The night mode is just fine. Most of the outings with family and friends were captured on my phone. Some lovely and memorable photos were printed. Photo editing software provided in-built also, helped me to place photos inside photo frames, out some effects, type text on the photo etc. and save it. These edited messages were sent via MMS to near and dear ones.
I could use the photos as photo caller ids as well. The contact lists allowed me to save these photos as caller ids with a persons name, address, home phone, office phone, fax, email, birthday etc. If that was not enough, I had the option to edit the label. For example, if I had to save my friend’s dad’s number then I can edit the home phone label to Dads phone under his/her name.
The video recorder recorded scenes for only 9 seconds but good video shooting software can let you record as much as your phone memory / memory card permits. I got the Nokia extended video recorder software from the Nokia WAP site via GPRS. It gives sufficiently clear videos if the phone is held properly. The software which came on the memory card allows me to edit recorded videos and make my own movie clip.
The memory card is the best part of the phone. The phone had in-built 6 MB memory but for music and videos, I needed the memory card. I got a 32 MB memory card with my phone. I bought another 256 MB card later which had multiple uses.
I have used it to transfer files from my phone to my Computer (with memory card slots) and also, from one computer to another. The memory card was helpful for directly printing photos from the printer (with memory card slots). When my memory card was cluttered, I formatted it and the phone’s performance improved.
I can easily save up to 40 songs on my in my phone. Movie clips, episodes of my favorite shows are stored in the memory card.
Real player is good for music and movie clips but it doesnt give full screen views. The clips I downloaded via GPRS were directly, viewed and saved using the real player.
Watching Videos, episodes of Friends etc. full screen on my phone is just too good. Yes, this was possible by installing the necessary software.
GPRS is another useful facility. I check my mails, download software, games, tones etc., browse WAP sites, check the dictionary, encyclopedia and use many other services using my GPRS. The connection speed is good enough.
I used the high speed advanced GPRS once and my phone gave me the complete internet experience with the Opera phone browser. This service enabled me to use the phone to connect to the internet on the computer via Bluetooth settings.
I love to decorate my 6600 with beautiful themes depending on occasions or moods.
Whatever games, I needed, tools I needed I was able to install everything into my phone. I love playing games on my phone. A tough phone, it never got spoilt. It was working slow when I cluttered it but after formatting it after transferring necessary files to my computer it is as good as it was when a new phone.
The wallet tool is also, very useful for saving email ids, other usernames with passwords, or credit card information etc. saving these very important data with a secure password.
Recently, it had a problem of getting restarted automatically when I use the GPRS service for a long time. And yes, once I forgot my lock code the mobile service provider couldnt help much. I didnt need the lock code afterwards, so havent corrected the problem till now.
Finally, the battery stayed throughout the day if the usage was medium. The battery went off by evening if the usage was high. I charge the phone everyday for around 20 minutes to half an hour and that enough for me to stay connected throughout the day.
Although the phone has certain limitations, it has served as a very useful gadget and an inseparable part of my life.
No wonder, the phone became so popular that Nokia re-launched with a 64 MB Memory card.
I may switch to a new phone someday but this phone will always be with me.
If you have no money to shell out for new high end phones go for a Nokia 6600 which is cheap now.
To end up, this is a fabulous value for money phone.

Nokia 800 Sirocco

Nokia 8800 Sirocco

Item: Nokia 8800 SiroccoLocation:by Ankit

Review: This phone comes in a black or silver color and rather than the outside being plastic, it is actually steel or metal so I found this phone to be way heavier than the rest. However, the camera is excellent and takes very nice pictures that come out cleaner and clearer than most camera phones (it is about 2MP which is really good for when it just came out, since the earliest digital cameras are about 2-3MP). I also can’t seem to phone a card slot for this phone but so far whatever I put in there whether it is music files to theme files to picture files, the space doesn’t seem to run out so that is good (i just checked; there is about 130mB of internal memory). It did not come with a USB cable for me to transfer files so if you have an infared port or bluetooth, that will still work. THe transfer time for files is fast compared to a lot of motorola phones. The sound is okay for most music files but i found that when it is playing songs that have loud guitar/rock stuffs, the sound goes a bit fuzzy, however it is good with normal ring tones. THis is a nice sliding phone but it was too expensive. My brother purchased it at $500 CAD. I’m sure it’s cheaper now, but it’s not something I would go for at that price.

Nokia 6101

Nokia 6101

Item: Nokia 6101Location:by Ankit

Review: I’ve gone through 4 or 5 of these phones, so I know them like the palm of my hand. The first thing I would like to point out is that these are VERY rugged phones. One example was one rainy night when I was in a particularly bad mood. My poor cell phone got the brunt of my fury. I threw that poor thing a good 10 feet away onto concrete at least 4 times, and tried to drown it in some several-inch-deep puddles. That thing never gave up, even after all that shock and water damage. Another time a group of friends convinced me to throw it as high as I could in the air and catch it. I did, it went a good 60-70 feet up there, and came down in my hands, which yes, is softer than the ground, but is still quite a shock. Point of the story is that its a strong phone. Another feature I like is that it can transmit infrared messages, which is useful for me because my computer has an infrared port. Free ringtones! Now for the bad. The phone has a lot of good feature, but the menu is a little inconsistent. For example, the order and number of options you have for a specific picture will change depending on if you’re viewing a thumbnail or the full size picture. Some of these changes make sense, but others don’t. Also, the menu looks sort of cheap, not as nice as other phones. There are many options for customization with this phone. The camera is less that one megapixel but the quality is good enough to view them blown up on the computer. The video feature is essentially useless. Even if you can tell whats going on in the video, you’re barely able to see it and even less able to hear it. I like this phone a lot. It works well and is very strong. Like everything, it has its downfalls but overall its nice.

NoKIA 9300

Nokia 9300

Item: Nokia 9300 Cellular PhoneLocation:by Ankit

Review: 9300, the communicator is one of most the efficient mobile phone in today\’s fast moving world. I have been using same from last one year and extremely happy with performance and features. Covers all wishlist, namely organizer, email, world clock, calender, speakerphone, music player, bluetooth, gprs, expandable memory card, its a win-win situation for working professionals. Today variety of websites are selling this model at affordable price. Using data cable, you can also sync 9300 to your offical email account on Lotus notes / outlook / calender / to do with thru laptop. You can even switch off your mobile phones during air journey and keep working on communicator stuff. Also, one can also download couple of lucrative stuff from Nokia website, world map, games, covertor which are extremely useful during travelling. Also 9300i comes with camera feature with bigger memory slot options. Battery backup is equally efficient, easliy last for 2/3 days, if one is decent user ofcourse !!

Nokia N95

Nokia N95

Item: Nokia N95Location:by ANKIT

Review: Okay scratch off my old dream phone because it’s obsolete. My dream phone is now the Nokia N95. Still saving up for it, though. But my eldest sister has this and I’m looking for ways to steal it from her. The first thing I love about it is that it’s wi-fi capabilities. I can surf, download and check emails without turning on my laptop. The surfing is great, and I don’t have problems about pages not being able to load. Second, 5 megapixel camera! My god, I could take pictures all day long with it. And I won’t even have to bother bringing my old digital camera along with me. Third, up to 2 GB expandable memory. Well, that costs a lot of money but the investment is worth it especially when you start taking pictures or saving music and video files. Fourth, GPS navigation. Okay so I just had to write that down even though most of the roads in the Philippines are unrecognizable. Fifth, TV output! Okay, so do I even have to explain why I love that feature! Imagine watching your dad belting out a Tom Jones classic in your TV over and over again! Hilarious, but my sister can’t stop making us watch it. Sixth, big LCD! Can’t stop taking pictures and looking at myself. There are so many things I love about this phone, because it has it all. Everything you might need. Again scratch ‘might’ and just say it has everything you’ll ever want and need in a phone. This is my dream phone now. And I can’t help but wonder if I made the right decision to have my XDA fixed. But anyway, my sister will be buying a new phone soon and I don’t mind hand me downs.Rating: 10
