Nokia N73

Review: Last month, I decided to replace my old cellular phone by Toshiba, served by the AU Japan Telecom, with a Nokia N73, also known in Japan as Nokia 705NK.Run by a Symbian OS 9.1, S60 3rd edition, this series of Nokia phone is also an SMS, MMS, and email messaging gadget equipped with a WAP 2.0/xhtml and html. And of course it is java enabled so you can install your favorite java games and applications with its capability to adopt an upgrade in SD card.Nokia N73 colors are simply amazing and so sleek. With the ability to switch to different themes, you can really make this toy a real eye candy while doing your usual day to day cellular phone routines. Its camera, a 3.15MP, 2048×1536 pixels raw image format, using Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus and a VGA, add to the merits. In fact I consider it a delight and at the same a spoiler. I really enjoy the focus and color preference adjustments before taking any pictures or videos. And who can resist the music features? You can beef up this toy with a giga or two of sd card and load it up with your favorite music files or perhaps videos? You name it.One drawback though, when it comes to physical design, I think I am not so comfortable in using the tiny and concaved keypads of N73. It gives me a hard time when I am into rush with dialing and typing numbers and text messages respectively.
